Best Graphic Settings For VALORANT (For Fastest Performance)

VALORANT is a blockchain-based game that will be launching soon. The best graphics settings for VALORANT are listed below, so you can boost performance before it goes live.

The “best graphics settings for valorant” is a question that many people ask. The answer to this question is different depending on your hardware, so you will need to find the best settings for your computer.

Let’s face it: you never really know what’s going on when you change the visual settings of a game.

There are just too many options to pick from, and you really just want to play without jerky, low-frame-rate visuals.

Your graphical settings in FPS games like VALORANT may have a big influence on your performance.

Fortunately, we’ve already done the research and found the optimum visual settings for VALORANT, so you don’t have to.

And in this article, we’ll teach you exactly what visual settings to use to reduce input latency and get your PC to run the game as quickly as possible.

Let’s get started!

TL;DR: The Most IMPORTANT Graphics Presets

The easiest approach to increase your FPS and decrease input latency is to do the following:

  • Everyone should read this: Turn on “Improve Clarity” and set all of your visuals to their lowest levels. These options will provide you with the best results. (A full list may be found here.)
  • For Mid- to High-End Computers: Turn “Improve Clarity” on and set “Material Quality,” “Texture Quality,” and “Detail Quality” to Medium. (A full list may be found here.)
  • Everyone should read this: Change the color of the “Enemy Highlight Color” to Yellow (any of the two settings).
  • Everyone should read this: Set an FPS limit based on the following: (The whole explanation may be found here.)
    • Monitors with a refresh rate of 60Hz to 144Hz have a maximum frame rate of 200 frames per second.
    • Monitors with a refresh rate of 240Hz have a maximum frame rate of 300 to 400 frames per second.

We’ve tried both of the following methods for changing your visual settings:

1. Reduce Input Lag With The Best Graphics Video Settings (Recommended)

  • Rendering on Multiple Threads: Enabled
  • Low material quality
  • Low Texture Quality
  • Low Detail Quality
  • Low UI Quality
  • Off vignette
  • VSync is disabled.
  • Anti-Aliasing: There isn’t any.
  • Filtering: 1x anisotropic
  • Increasing Clarity:
  • Sharpening Experiment: Off
  • Bloom is turned off.
  • Shadows are not cast.

If you want the best performance and the least input latency, use these settings.

These are the settings that the majority of professionals use.

If you have a low-end PC, these settings are critical.

2. For High-End PCs, the Best Balanced Graphics Video Settings For Performance And Clarity

  • Anti-Aliasing: There isn’t any.
  • Filtering: 1x anisotropic
  • Increasing Clarity:
  • Sharpening Experiment: Off
  • Bloom is turned off.
  • Shadows are not cast.

If you want to appreciate the game’s graphics, we suggest these settings.

Setting the quality to Medium will have a minimal impact on your FPS and is recommended for mid- to high-end PCs.

Some professionals favor Medium settings over Low settings because they provide somewhat more clarity.

Change the color of your “enemy highlight color” to yellow.

By changing the opponent color to yellow, you can see foes more clearly than ever before.

Increase your digital vibrancy to at least 80%.

Turning up the Digital Vibrance is a handy tip I discovered that should work on most displays.

“Digital Vibrance” is referred to as “Saturation” by AMD GPU users.

You should aim for a Digital Vibrance of 80 percent or higher.

I’ve had it set at 80%, but you may experiment with the range.

If you haven’t experimented with this option previously, you will notice a huge change in colors.

This is how it appears:

How To Change Digital Vibrance For NVIDIA Users

  1. Select “NVIDIA Control Panel” from the context menu when you right-click on your desktop.
  2. Select “Adjust desktop color settings” from the left-hand menu under “Display.”
  3. Set the “Digital vibrance” to 80 percent or higher. Feel free to experiment with what you think looks best.

Why limiting the number of frames per second in VALORANT may help reduce input lag

When it comes to gaming performance, you should realize that a greater frame rate equals less input latency.

That is correct.

However, this may lead you to believe that “uncapping” your FPS will enable you to play at the greatest possible frame rate.

This is not the case, however, when it comes to eliminating input latency.

When you play at an uncapped frame rate, your CPU becomes bottlenecked, resulting in increased latency, which means your bullets will register slower.

To put it another way, playing at an uncapped FPS causes input latency.

So here’s what you should do instead:

Step 1: In-Game Demonstrate Your FPS

Go to Settings Video Stats and choose “Text Only” under Client, FPS.

Step 2: Increase your FPS to test what you’re running on a regular basis.

Select “Off” under “Limit FPS Always” in the Video General section of your in-game options.

Step 3: Put your FPS to the test in-game

Have fun with it. If you just want to get it over with, go to the range and spawn the bots; this will simulate what you’d see in a tournament.

Make a mental note of or write down what FPS your game is now running at.

Step 4: Use your data to limit your FPS while also adding an FPS buffer.

You should set your FPS limit to be greater than your monitor’s refresh rate but lower than your CPU and GPU’s capabilities.

The simplest approach to figure this out is to use your average FPS number as a cushion.

You’ll also want to make sure your refresh rate is greater than your monitor’s refresh rate.

Some instances are as follows:

You should limit my FPS at 200 if your constant FPS is 150 and your monitor’s refresh rate is 144Hz.

If your FPS is high yet you’re only playing on a 60Hz display, I’d suggest updating your monitor to match your high FPS.

If your FPS is low yet your monitor’s refresh rate is high, it suggests your GPU isn’t powerful enough, and you should consider upgrading it.

However, if your FPS remains stable, you should ensure that your PC is functioning as smoothly and effectively as possible, minimizing input latency as much as feasible.

Final Thoughts

By now, you should have a good idea of what the optimum visual settings for VALORANT are, as well as how to improve your PC’s performance to minimize input latency as much as possible.

Although the FPS cap technique isn’t well-known, it should make you feel somewhat more responsive if you use it.

Overall, optimizing your game to achieve a high, constant FPS is essential for a pleasurable VALO gaming experience as well as a competitive edge.

However, it will not immediately improve your situation.

When it comes to becoming better at VALORANT, you’ll want to work on your game sense and aim.

Have fun gaming!
