Alabama ultimately beat Auburn in overtime after swapping touchdowns and field goals throughout the game. Despite the razor-thin margin, the Tide receives seven votes.
And just as Oklahoma State’s playoff prospects seemed to be fading, Bedlam’s antics took over. The Cowboys rallied from a 33-24 fourth-quarter hole to beat Oklahoma 37-33 and go to the Big 12 championship game.
Georgia and Cincinnati, on the other hand, both cruised to 12-0 records this week. Both teams are unanimous picks once again, but they will face stiff competition in their conference championship games next week. The Bulldogs are in the College Football Playoff race win or lose, while the Bearcats will need a victory over an 11-1 Houston club to stay in contention.
