Lineage2M is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that has been available for many years in China, Korea and Russia. This winter Lineage2M will finally make its way to the west as it launches on PC, Mac and mobile devices from NCsoft. Players can expect exciting updates including real-time combat system changes with fast combos, new quests every day and other improvements.
NCsoft is finally launching Lineage2M in the west this winter. The game has been released in Korea for 10 years now, but the company is finally releasing it into the western market.
Lineage2M is finally coming to North America, and we won’t have to wait long: NCsoft announced this morning that the game would be available on iOS and Android “this winter” for western gamers. The company claims that the game will be released simultaneously in 29 countries and will be localized in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Polish. It will also be available on PC through NCsoft’s PURPLE “exclusive PC cross-play service.” We’ll be joining the 7,000,000 South Korean players who have already played the game.
“Lineage2M offers completely 3D environments with some of the finest 4K ultra high-definition visuals in mobile gaming.” There’s also seamless environment loading, and it’s the world’s biggest mobile open world, with over 10,000 players able to participate in large-scale conflicts. Lineage2M is based on the Lineage fictional world and includes five playable races: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Dark Elves, and Orcs. Swords, Dual Swords, Daggers, Bows, Staves, and Orbs are the weapons that define a character’s profession. Each has its unique set of strengths and limitations. During the Closed Beta, players will have access to all classes, but their progress will be reset before the launch.”
