Roadmap for Star Citizen
According to Robert Space Industries’ Star Citizen Roadmap, which was revealed on April 17th. It contains the following items:
The development of Server Meshing has been emphasized as a high priority. Finally, development on Server Meshing functionality was prioritized and scheduled for Q2, with a focus on Server Client Actor Networking.
Improvements to Death Animation
Body Dragging will remain in Alpha 4.0, but Death Animation Improvements will be pushed back a quarter to Alpha 4.1.
More information may be found in the Booty Farm Wiki, Guide, and Images.
As front-facing feature release dates are decided, the team plans to introduce more Bounty Hunter-themed cards in the future.
- Orison & Crusader Landing Zone
Crusader and its landing zone, Orison, were pushed back to the end of the year because the team required additional time to create these destinations, according to the team. The following are the reasons for this change:
- The re-prioritization of GrimHex and other environmental add-ons has made progress.
- The extra time it took to finish New Babbage.
- Due to the current COVID-19 epidemic, there are delays in migrating to a substitute work-from-home environment. They’ll be deleting these cards for the time being since Alpha 4.2 isn’t currently visible on the roadmap, but we anticipate them to reappear in the fourth quarter.
As a result of the Crusader and Orison Landing Zone movements, the following cards have moved:
- Lisa Gibbs is the mission giver.
- Devin Bautista is the mission giver.

Under the Alpha 4.0 column, the following cards have been added to the PU Roadmap:
- New Babbage – Shop Additions | A novelty Kiosk will be set up in the New Babbage spaceport center to offer relics and trinkets. The Factory Line, a flagship shop for MicroTech that offers top-of-the-line items like mobiGlas and sim pods, has also arrived at the spaceport.
- Elevator Panel Updates – The functioning elevator boards are being modified to employ interactable displays, rather than the player’s own idea, as was previously the case.
- Heightmap Updates – All or some of the heightmaps used on planets and moons are being updated to take advantage of their increased resolution. As a result, more detail will be utilised in the painting process.
- Cutlass Blue – The modified police/militia patrol form of the Drake Cutlass was built, coordinated, and implemented into the game.

Update 3.9 for Star Citizen
Wiki & Guide for the Characters in Risk of Rain 2
Please stay away from Microtech for the time being. Because the spawning mechanism is now broken, logging out at areas that should keep the player alive, such as the bed, is currently not possible. It’s a disaster to communicate with the Vanguard class ship. These ships should not be used. When the Pisces spawns, its steering gear is lowered. After the player enters the patrol area, the mission objectives do not update. Products are not available for purchase at outposts.
Turrets that are hostile will not fire on the player. At all rest stations, the purchasing kiosks are empty. There are no retail products on display at rest stop shops. Melee takedowns against AI targets are not counted as kills. If ATC despawns a player’s spacecraft from the steering pad and they recover another, they will no longer be able to reclaim the original ship.
When mining a ship’s deposit, the screen has a significant influence. The mission of the data recorder aboard the rescue ship is not renewed. Body and temperature parameters are visible on the HUD, however they will not be included in the 3.8 update.
On planetary surfaces, replacement details may appear. Players may spawn with untreatable blood loss and be abandoned in a death cycle. For a few 890 Jump beds, there is no logout prompt. When ships are quantum linked, they may find themselves orientated sideways. MicroTech Planet, including the outside of the Latest Babbage Landing Zone, has been included as a new feature. The interior of the Latest Babbage is currently unfinished and unavailable.
Interior changes to the Rest Stop have been included. When login into the game for the first time, players may now choose their preferred spawn location. Non-lethal Melee Combat has been added to the GrimHex ceasefire.
Update 4.0 for Star Citizen
Star Citizen Alpha 4.0.0 is a proposed Star Citizen upgrade for June 2020. The content of the update is subject to change, according to the Star Citizen Roadmap. Among the characters will be:
- Givers of Missions
- Devin Bautista and Lisa Gibbs
- Orison Shipyards is a company that specializes in shipbuilding (Landing Zone)
By considering concepts like as lift, drag, and energy potential, AI spacecraft have the required capability and behavior to maneuver and battle in the atmosphere. Ships will also be able to traverse the landscape and objects on planets with precision. The AI will not only employ a range of weaponry to create unique combat situations, but it will also engage the player in a number of ways, whether in groups or individually.
Enhancements and a polish
This polishing pass includes the most extensive work on behaviors, balance, and bug fixes. For the release, the goal is to improve the appearance and feel of flight combat.
Furthermore, the player may traverse surfaces in zero-g by pushing and pulling with their hands. When the player is wearing an EVA suit without thrusters or if thrusters are switched off, this will come into play.
Docking from a Ship to a Station
In addition, space stations have the capacity to dock and generate shuttles. Some of the larger ships need this feature in order to launch at certain spots.
