I was doing the quest “Repentance” for Thonnir, who is having some trouble with his new houseguest during this quest. I had to make some potions at the alchemy table in windhelm’s inn. But where is it?
There are only two buildings with an inn sign showing you can rent a room or buy a drink, but it’s not either of those.
I’ve been wandering around, checking every building with the inn sign to no avail. I also checked the two buildings with an alchemy table outside them, both are merchants who sell potions and ingredients. No luck there either! The map marker says that my objective is inside Windhelm limits, and I thought it might be the “Hall of the Dead” but no luck.
Where is the inn in windhelm
Inn is located in the north-eastern corner of Windhelm.
IIt is not inside Windhelm like the map marker says, it’s on the outskirts of town near the blacksmith’s forge and tanner. There are two buildings with an alchemy table outside them; one is a merchant selling potions and ingredients, she also has a room for rent upstairs which is where you do the quest “Repentance” from Thonnir. The other building is a merchant who sells weapons and armor, but has no room for rent. There is also a shrine of Talos between the two buildings.
The inn is to the north-east of this little square, on top of some steps. The stairs are not clearly visible on the map so you have to look out for them. It has an alchemy table outside but there are no merchants nearby selling potions or ingredients, just a blacksmith and a tanner. The inn is not marked in the in-game map, only in the official map that came with the game .
